Types of Custom Pins

Hard Enamel

The rigid enamel pin is made with several layers of enamel paint in the hollow areas of the pin. At the end, the paint is at the same level as the embossed metal walls. The surface is therefore smooth and flat. It is a more luxurious and expensive process than soft enamel.

Soft enamel

The soft enamel pin is made from a single layer of enamel paint, applied in the hollow areas of the pin. The painted colours are lower than the embossed metal walls of the pin. Soft enamel pins are cheaper than hard enamel ones, making them the most popular choice for events, organisations and more.

Pure Metal

Pure metal pins are the best choice for designs with simple images and no painted colours. The entire pin is the colour of the metal. We often apply an antique metal finish for this type of pin. They are cheaper than soft enamel.

Printed pins

These pins are printed in high resolution offset and CMYK and then a transparent protective finish is applied. This allows your design to be printed on the surface of the pin ensuring excellent quality. For designs with blurred colours and very small details, we recommend printed pins.
